How To Check For A Price Drop On Cruises (Updated Post)

Often when looking to take a cruise vacation many travelers book their reservations months in advance. Some cruise lines offer price guarantee so if the rate changes and is less than what you originally paid the price can be adjusted to the lower rate. Fares do sometimes drop before the sail date.

Crusieline.com is a great website  where you can set alerts to keep you informed on any price changes related to your cruise vacation.Once you receive an alert fill out a price protection form to protect your price and send it over to the cruise line. You can receive alerts for Carnival, Norwegian, and Royal Caribbean.

Here is a quick step by step:

  1. Go to cruiseline.com

  2. Create an account

  3. Locate your cruise information

  4. Click “Get Price Alert” (located under View Deal)

  5. Wait for alerts

Capture

Make sure you check out Cruiseline.com after booking your cruise vacation. Some cruise dates may not be available especially if a cruise is sold out.

  1. Hey thank you so much for the insight after reading your post I checked my upcoming cruise and was able to get a $50 onboard credit and an upgrade to a better cabin. My cruise fair had dropped from the last time I checked.
