Las Vegas Shake Shack Review

Shake Shack sprouted from a hot-dog cart in Madison Square Park in Manhattan to support the Madison Square Park Conservancy’s first art installation. The cart was quite the success, with Shack fans lined up daily for three summers. While in Las Vegas we had the opportunity to dine at Shake Shack and upon arrival there was a line of people waiting for the location to open everyone appeared excited and eager to order. Well folks, I can tell you the food is fantastic and well worth the short wait!

Shack Shake is the perfect place if you’re looking for a great and tasty quick-service restaurant on the strip. Menu options include delicious burgers, chicken sandwiches, and specialty hot-dogs. Pair your sandwich with a delicious side of fries and don’t forget your beverage shakes, floats, and soft drinks are also available.

During our visit I ordered the BBQ Chick’n Shack a crispy 100% all-natural and antibiotic-free chicken breast with Shack BBQ sauce and pickles. As a side the BBQ Bacon Cheese Fries topped with all-natural smoked Niman Ranch bacon, Shack BBQ Sauce and cheese sauce was perfecto just bursting with flavor. Yes lip smacking yumminess!

Fun Fact: Shake Shack has been working on their Shack BBQ sauce recipe for quite some time now and couldn’t be more thrilled to share it with their fans finally!” said Mark Rosati, Culinary Director of Shake Shack. “Our Shack BBQ sauce takes inspiration from a few of our favorite regional BBQ styles, from the thick and rich tomato-based Kansas City style to the tangy South Carolina mustard style, and adds incredible flavor to our new burger, chicken, and fries.”

To sweeten the deal I was lucky enough to enjoy and experience one of three new seasonal shakes. I love mint flavored desserts so I ordered the Mint Cookies & Cream Shake. This Shake is hand-spun and made with mint frozen custard blended, chocolate wafer cookie crumbles, and topped with whipped cream. I am in love OMG the deliciousness had me dancing in my seat after each spoon.

King Thrifty ordered the  SmokeShack Double Cheeseburger topped with all-natural applewood smoked bacon, chopped cherry pepper, shacksauce and crispy fries. For dessert, he indulged on a jaw-dropping hand-spun black & white shake. He raved about his meal in smiles as we exited the  Shake Shack located at New York-New York Hotel. The New York-New York location is open 7 days a week from 11AM-2AM so make sure you swing by.  For more details visit https://www.shakeshack.com/

  1. Husband has been to Vegas several times but I haven’t had the pleasure. Hopefully one day soon. Sounds like the Shake Shack is well worth the short wait to enjoy some great tasting food. I would come home needing to diet.
