Surprise your guests with a gorgeous table setting this Thanksgiving. I’ve got the perfect show-stopping harvest inspired table setting idea that honors tradition but doesn’t break the budget.
I love Oriental Trading their decor items are very stylish and affordable. Choose from a variety of colors, display items, dinnerware, and much more. This year we decided to go with a simple, but a traditional flair for our harvest inspired table setting.
Instead of using a tablecloth we decided to go with this gold shimmer burlap table runner which is always a beautiful accent but the gold finishing on this runner makes it all the more striking and glamorous.
I don’t plan on washing dishes so disposable plates, spoons, forks and knives were at the top of my list. To add my special touch and still keep the look simple, but semi-elegant these copper paper chargers were a perfect addition.
On top of the chargers are chevron scallop paper dinner plates that feature graceful scalloped edges and a chic chevron pattern.
In the spirits of decorating everything I fell in love with the sweet fall silverware holders and inside we placed one metallic color spoon, knife, and fork. The metallic silverware is casual and has a touch of class.
Above the silverware, I added in my favorite Thanksgiving Turkey Cups very festive and these make the clean up effortless.
To complete the look adding a memorable centerpiece is important. In the center of the table is a gorgeous, real wood base. On top the base I placed two of three tea light candle holders and one of three unique white and gold sweet fall 3 piece pumpkins.

Now that is a really nice classy looking Thanksgiving table! We have Thanksgiving at a friends house but I would love to decorate the table like this. I might just decorate their table since I’m helping her host.

That’s a great tablescape. I love the use of gold. Usually when people use gold, it comes off as tacky, but it totally works here.

I think using disposable dishes and siverware is so smart and takes away so much dish washing and clutter in the sink during the meal. I love those white pumpkins as an accent centerpiece.

I think the golden colors are perfect for a Thanksgiving feast. Our family started using disposables a couple years ago and it is so nice not to have so many dirty dishes to wash after we eat. Oriental Trading has lots of great picks for holiday parties.

I can’t believe you got all that from Oriental Trading Co.! I used to use them all the time when I was teaching, mostly for school stuff. That looks so pretty and easy to clean up afterwards, too!
