Annually my husband and I plan for a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando. We usually have custom shirts made weeks before the trip. This year I decided to try to make the myself. With excitement and the creative bug biting I couldn’t wait to see how things would turn out.
Than I uploaded my image to the Cricut Design Space and adjusted the sizing of my image and hit the make it button.
I setup my work space which consisted of the Cricut Explore Air 2, Easy Press, Easy Press Mini, my supplies and 2 vinyl iron sheets since the design is layered and my heat mat.
Place my first iron-on to the cutting mat and than hit the load button.
I doubled checked my settings to confirm my image was set to mirror.
Than hit I hit the flashing go button on the Explore Air 2.
Once it was done cutting I hit the release button and removed the cutting mat.
Removed my iron on and immediately went to work tweeding my images.
Preheat base material. Place Cricut EasyPress on fabric for recommended time.
Hold Cricut EasyPress in place and apply recommended pressure until it beep.
For some of the letter I also used the mini Easy Press to avoid burning the vinyl images already added to the shirt
Wallah I created my very own custom Maleficent shirt to my ears to wear during my trip to Walt Disney World. I couldn’t be more pleased.
I’m still excited and as I’ve said before I love Cricut products. I can make custom gifts, home decor, custom shirts, wine glasses with special messaging and so many other creative products with a personal touch.
