The Cricut Joy is the perfect addition to our household. This smart little cutting and writing machine makes it easy to personalize almost anything. Happiness in just minutes we all need a little joy in our lives. Everyday since Joy arrived I worked on a project or two.
I have small office space and having the Joy takes up very little space. This allows me more room to work on my projects without have to clear my work area or move stuff around. The Joy is compact one of the smallest smart cutting machine ever! If I’m working on labels or organizing my stock pile in the garage I can easily move the Joy from room to room. When my project is complete I don’t have to go back to my office. It fits in a cubby space on the shelf or I can leave it on the counter. Cricut Joy packs away easily and sets up instantly no mat required combined with the smaller material size, makes the whole system easy to manage and transport no craft room required.
However I do prefer the mat for certain projects, but the brand-new materials that do not require a mat. It takes a lot less steps to achieve faster results. I love the new Smart vinyl which comes in extended sizes, with up to 20’ repeated cut capability, and no need to switch out multiple mats.

In April our family will welcome our newest bundle of blessing I can’t wait to meet my niece. I’m a huge fan of custom t-shirts so I wanted to make sure the new baby received it’s first bodysuit designed by me. I also found the design under free projects on the free Joy design space page. For this project I also used my Cricut EasyPress Mini.

I host a number of gatherings and often visitors violate my number one rule by placing a beverage or cup on my tables without a coaster. Using coasters is a pet peeve of mine and I’ve always wanted to design my own. I have this beautiful loft space where my wine racket is located. I designed four coasters using a free design located design space using the blank square coasters found here.
I never new how easy it was to create personalized coasters I was able to complete four in 30 minutes. I could’ve probably saved sometime, but I’m a huge perfectionist. The coasters are compatible with Vinyl, Infusible Ink Transfer Sheets, Pens & Markers for peel-proof, flake-proof, wash-proof transfers. For best results, use Cricut EasyPress 2 or heat press that reaches 400°F (205°C) I have both, but to save space I used the Cricut Mini Press.
I fell in love with the Cricut Joy because the projects are simple and not too time consuming to create. Three words that sum it all up for me is fun, functional, and simple. The Cricut Joy makes practical everyday projects more accessible! If you already have a Maker or Air 2, Cricut Joy opens additional creative possibilities with unique features and is the perfect companion for quick, mat-free projects and long cuts. I love having the blue-tooth connection that allows me to print from any of my devices as long as the design space app is installed.

I have a Cricut Explore Air 2, but I can’t wait to try the Cricut Joy! It looks awesome! I need to make some coasters. I’ve made some fun shirts using infusible ink and I was so thrilled with how they turned out.

Thanks for your blog. I recently bought the Joy Cricut machine. The first time I did it came out great. But the second time the paper got cut and was damage. It was not presentable to give or even sell the card. I did try to call Cricut but no one is answering is there any way you can help me.
