John Wick 2 In Theaters 2/10 Is A Must SeeNo Spoilers)

Legendary Hitman John Wick is forced back out of retirement by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers.

I am certain John Wick 2 will be a hit at the box office this weekend. The fight scene’s had me at the edge of my seat craving for more. When John Wick discovered that a large bounty was put on his life, I knew the movie was about to heat up. I found the movie to be fascinating, exciting and fantastic the characters were believable and had crazy charisma. I don’t want to spill the beans too much, but I will say this movie had it’s own flow so don’t build expectations just sit down and enjoy the ride.

Trivia:

John Wick is intended to be a trilogy, this film being the second in that trilogy.

In preparation for the role Keanu Reeves was trained by ex SF members in dual weapons and close quarters shooting. A clip of Keanu training with live ammo was released online showing him performing to a high standard with multiple weapons on a CQB range

This will be the first time Laurence Fishburne and Keanu Reeves worked together since The Matrix Revolutions (2003).

This film’s director was a stunt man in the Matrix trilogy, in which Keanu Reeves played the main character.

This will be the fourth time Peter Stomare and Keanu Reeves work together after Constantine (2005), Henry’s Crime (2010) and Swedish Dicks (2016)

John Wick (Keanu Reeves) says to the Bowery King (Laurence Fishburne) “So I guess you have a choice.” This phrase, or variations of it, was a constant theme of these actors’ previous collaboration, the Matrix Trilogy (1999-2003).

Keanu Reeves and Common also appeared as enemies in Street Kings (2008).
