The Black Panther purple carpet experience was explosive! Over the couple weeks, I am going to be publishing a lot of content highlighting my trip so keep an eye. Today is all about the Black Panther world premiere.
The purple carpet was LIT!
Monday night in Los Angeles, stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Sterling K. Brown, Martin Freeman, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis were joined by writer/director Ryan Coogler and producer Kevin Feige for a walk down the red/purple carpet where they greeted enthusiastic fans and members of the media for the world premiere of Marvel Studios’ “BlackPanther.”
They were joined by special guests Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Donald Glover, Issa Rae, Lena Waithe, Tessa Thompson, Kumail Nanjiani, Yara Shahidi, David Oyelowo.

There was a small group of us when Jamie Foxx stopped by to tell us how beautiful and amazing we looked he even shook hands and bowed before walking away Then a wave from the beautiful Janelle Monae and a what’s up from Martin Lawrence and hugs with Megan Good, and a quick hello from Usher so many fun memories.
Inside I felt a sense of pride and excitement I was blessed to have the opportunity to experience a monumental event. I couldn’t believe for a second I was on the purple carpet for the world premiere of Black Panther and would be one of the first people in the world to see the film. Inside out I was thankful.
For the world premiere of Black Panther, I decided to rock my natural coils and to complete the look I wore a custom dress made by a local designer Sheree Alexis. My jewelry was handmade designed by Nichole Burton-Chambers another local designer. I was ready for my trip to Wakanda.
Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” follows T’Challa after the death of his father the King of Wakanda. T’Challa returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king and Black Panther is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” hits U.S. theaters on February 16, 2018. Check your local theaters and to purchase advance tickets.
