In September we had the chance to spend a week in Paris. We travel often, but this trip was one for the memory books. Paris was good to us so good we can’t wait to return. Come with me let’s explore our time in Paris one attraction at a time.
This is a sponsored post I was provided tickets or admission at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review. Special thanks to our partners in Paris for providing me with such wonderful opportunities to explore Paris one attraction at a time.

Some wonderful folks we met from Oklahoma!
First, stop one of my favorite places in Paris the L’Aquarium de Paris is an underground Aquarium that offers an array of fish and my favorite a huge shark tank! I enjoyed the movie theater and relaxing on the benches located inside the tunnel of the shark tank we sat and watched the sharks swim by. For the most part, it wasn’t too busy inside so we were able to stroll without interruption. L’Aquarium de Paris offers interactive shows, films, workshops, educational animations, special exhibits, and much more for visitors to enjoy during their visit. We had an amazing time!

Next, stop Musée Grévin a beautiful wax museum containing over 250 characters arranged in scenes from the history of France and even some our favorites such as President Obama, Jimi Hendrix, the set of The Voice, Lady GaGa, and so much more. The Hall of Mirrors and the majestic marble staircase constructed by the architect Rives in 1900 was one of our favorites this area was simply stunning. We are diehard sports fans so The Champions Racing to Grevin was definitely a home run. Before leaving the museum we had the chance to Meet the Stars and snap a few selfies with George Clooney, Penelope Cruz, Brad Pitt and Marilyn Monroe. I had to grab a copy of the Grévin a 3D history book and a reflection of the French times. Musee Grevin offers a unique way to learn while you play.

Like Parisians, we spent one evening a spectacular enjoying a view of the Paris skyline and its monuments. We caught a glimpse of the sunset as we sipped a glass of champagne at the Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck. The Montparnasse Tower Observation Deck provided us with a unique 360° viewpoint of Paris from 210 meters above the city. Talk about the ultimate rooftop experience OMG! We caught a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe. Paris has some beautiful neighborhoods and we had the chance to see it all in one evening. We had a romantic time together check out our photo’s and cheers!

To celebrate our engagement we set sail to cruise on the Seine with Bateaux Mouches for one their dinner cruises. As the sun sets and night falls over Paris, the flagship Jean-Sébastien Mouche drifted off. The violinist began to play as we sat close to one another enjoying a few laughs with smiles in between. The romantic mood was present throughout the ship. Bateaux Mouches offers two menu choices: Prestige and Excellence. We decided to go with the Excellence menu and the food was wonderful this package also included wine or champagne. The cruise was approximately 2 hours 15 mins ever moment felt magical this was a such a special moment for us and a memory would never forget.

Bateaux Mouches also offers scenic cruises where you can tour Paris by boat. We enjoyed seeing The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame, the Conciergerie, the Musée d’Orsay from a different perspective. Boat tours depart daily, running in both the daytime and evening. Visit Bateaux Mouches to book any of the cruises mentioned or a lunch cruise it fits your preference. Another amazing moment in Paris for us and this cruise did not disappoint it delivered beyond our expectations. Bateaux Mouches the best way to discover Paris.

Before heading home we had to experience the magic of Disneyland Paris! As expected Disneyland was a day maker for us. We stormed into the park and jetted over to experience the 4D Ratatouille ride which is set to open at Epcot next year. We loved it and actually hopped on the ride three additional times haha. I even met a friend from Germany while in line. Next up was Big Thunder Mountain and thank goodness the line was short. I won’t spare any more details because when it comes to Disney I must spill the beans in a separate post that way you get all of the juicy details thrill after thrill.

The last night of our trip we had the pleasure of attending the cabaret and burlesque dinner show. Two words must-see! The theater was stunning and romantic inside the mood was on point to kick-off a fun-filled evening. Upon arrival, we were seated at a private table for two and presented with an option to enjoy wine or champagne with our dinner. We were handed menu’s to decide on an appetizer, entree, and dessert of choice. Bread was served at our table to enjoy until our appetizer was brought out. The wait was very short in between each course and we enjoyed every bite. Here is a perfect description of the show “a frenzied rhythm one after another rhythmic dances are performed by the famous Bluebell Girls and Lido Boy. Extravagant hats and majestic suits are decorated with beautiful feathers and sparkle with thousands of lights.” This description is spot on, but just a small piece of a perfect show. The Iron Lady was a showstopper gone girl WERK IT! The food was amazing, service came with a smile, and the show was hot and sexy from beginning to end. Oh, and I met some new friends from Houston and Hawaii.

Spending seven days in Paris was everything we needed and more. The trip provided us with an abundance of memories, reasons to be thankful, and most importantly an appreciation for the quality time we were able to enjoy away from home with one another. We left Paris with a commitment to spending to the rest of our lives together.

PARIS WE LOVE YOU XOXOXOX
