You’re different. Sooner or later different scares people, you think if you don’t fight back then maybe they’ll like you, stop picking on you and calling you a freak. Victim or not, make a decision.
Christian Wolff (Ben Affleck) is a math savant with more affinity for numbers than people. Behind the cover of a small-town CPA office, he works as a freelance accountant for some of the world’s most dangerous criminal organizations.
With the Treasury Department’s Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.
I truly in enjoyed how the movie addressed Autism the message was clear and thought provoking. I was very surprised with Ben Affleck I think he did and making job playing a cross role as an Accountant and bad guy. I am a huge action movie lover, but I hate spoilers so without spilling to much about the movie I will just stop here I rate “The Accountant” an 8/10. Head to theaters this weekend and let me know what you think!
Glad you liked it but I’m not as enthusiastic about the film as you are. I think the Asperger’s Syndrome thing was risky and it produces an emotional disconnect in an already confusing plotline. It is certainly original and action packed.
