“Cirque Dreams Holidaze” ignites the imagination and sparks new holiday tradition seasonal spectacular production! Simply magical and from the scene, to scene the audience had no idea what to expect next. The show was executed to perfection leave the audience in awe.
Special thanks to Cirque Productions for the complimentary tickets to attend opening night. This post contains 100% of my own opinion.
Neil Goldberg, the founder of Cirque Dreams and creator of the jaw-dropping, feet tapping, finger snapping holiday production as a kid collected ornaments from people’s Christmas trees after the holidays on his way home from Hebrew school he attended growing up. Now over 40 years later Neil Goldberg has collected over 10,000 including ornaments Faberge ornaments from St. Petersburg, Russia.
Through his vision and hard-work for over eight years, “Cirque Dreams Holidaze” has brought to life a dance, acrobatic, and holiday musical production that feels like Broadway, but with a European circus tradition. Over 300 lavish costumes all hand-picked and a fantastic 25ft.Tall Christmas tree a perfect centerpiece for the stage. There is a total of 30 artists that make of the cast contortionists, aerialists, and jugglers. This year two additional scenes were added I wouldn’t spill the beans this is a must see with your own eyes.
While the tour was in Columbus, Ohio, I had the chance to meet Lee Reisig, a talented young man who recently moved to the city. Lee and his group have appeared on shows like ACDC, America’s Got Talent, and was recognized as the World Champion of Jump Rope while growing up in Montana. Lee joined the tour back in 2009 and is an instrumental part of the show. Very inspirational behind the scenes he enjoys spending time with other cast members teaching them things about common American culture. His favorite scene of the play is the Gingerbread scene which was one of my favorites. Watch the show behind the scenes was an eye opener Lee and the cast were beyond amazing super talented humans.
For tour dates and performances in a city near you please visit http://www.cirqueproductions.com/tickets/ and be amazed by this holiday spectacle with over 300 costumes, 20 acts and 30 artists from every corner of the globe. Many of these acts have been featured on America’s Got Talent and similar TV shows in other countries making Cirque Dreams Holidaze the greatest variety show on the planet!
Witness snowmen, penguins, angels, reindeer, toy soldiers, gingerbread men, ornaments and of course Santa; with soaring acrobatics, gravity defying feats, elaborate production numbers, imaginative costumes, illusions and more. The show also celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with singers, original music and seasonal favorites all performed in a winter wonderland of amazement.
I am so happy I seen your post on social media or my family and I would have missed the show. We had a dazzled time from beginning to end I hope the show comes back next year or the company brings another show to the area. Happy Holiday’s to you please keep posting I love your blog.
