One of The Best Live Shows I’ve Seen This Year “Cirque Dreams Holidaze” (Updated Post)

“Cirque Dreams Holidaze” ignites the imagination and sparks new holiday tradition seasonal spectacular production! Simply magical and from the scene, to scene the audience had no idea what to expect next. The show was executed to perfection leave the audience in awe.

Special thanks to Cirque Productions for the complimentary tickets to attend opening night. This post contains 100% of my own opinion.

Neil Goldberg, the founder of Cirque Dreams and creator of the jaw-dropping, feet tapping, finger snapping holiday production as a kid collected ornaments from people’s Christmas trees after the holidays on his way home from Hebrew school he attended growing up. Now over 40 years later Neil Goldberg has collected over 10,000 including ornaments Faberge ornaments from St. Petersburg, Russia.

Through his vision and hard-work for over eight years, “Cirque Dreams Holidaze” has brought to life a dance, acrobatic, and holiday musical production that feels like Broadway, but with a European circus tradition. Over 300 lavish costumes all hand-picked and a fantastic 25ft.Tall Christmas tree a perfect centerpiece for the stage. There is a total of 30 artists that make of the cast contortionists, aerialists, and jugglers. This year two additional scenes were added I wouldn’t spill the beans this is a must see with your own eyes.

While the tour was in Columbus, Ohio, I had the chance to meet Lee Reisig, a talented young man who recently moved to the city. Lee and his group have appeared on shows like ACDC, America’s Got Talent, and was recognized as the World Champion of Jump Rope while growing up in Montana. Lee joined the tour back in 2009 and is an instrumental part of the show. Very inspirational behind the scenes he enjoys spending time with other cast members teaching them things about common American culture. His favorite scene of the play is the Gingerbread scene which was one of my favorites. Watch the show behind the scenes was an eye opener Lee and the cast were beyond amazing super talented humans.
