Recently we ordered the Voila mattress and I am so excited to tell you all that I have never slept this comfortable. I can now sleep on either side without waking up in pain.  I am glad we found the perfect mattress; I love the outstanding support it offers. 

The Voila is known as a hybrid mattress. A hybrid mattress is a mix between memory foam and coil springs. We decided on the Plush 12-inch mattress and on a scale from 1-10, the softness was around a two. I am impressed with the quality of the mattress cover. We’ve searched high and low for a mattress that has great temperature control. The high-quality mesh fabric and gel-infused memory foam are perfect when it comes to keeping us cool throughout the night. I fell in love with the memory and latex foams used to create an amazing pressure relief, while the pocketed coil support system provided response and bounce.

The Evolution of the Mattress

In ancient times, people would sleep on straw, water beds, etc. Coil spring mattresses have dominated the consumer market for 40+ years. Likely the mattress you grew up sleeping on was a coil spring bed. An invention called memory foam came out and revolutionized the industry. It was all the rage. Soon manufacturers began cutting out coil springs in favor of pure memory foam mattresses.

 The De-Evolution of the Mattress

As memory foam mattresses became popular, manufacturers and businesses soon realized it was possible to compress and roll up mattresses. Since it takes a few nights to get used to the new mattress, they suggest their customers wait 30 days to complete their decision.   33. Very nice thorough review. I bought a memory foam mattress a few years ago and it’s comfy and all, but I get hot! Was looking into the gel top or a brand new mattress. This one I will consider. Thanks for sharing!
