There was knock on the door and then a voice rang out we’re here! My girls had officially made it to Las Vegas let the celebration begin HEY! Not so fast jet lag had already kicked in and we were all starving, but in Vegas sleeping is not an option and there was a show on the agenda I had planned to attend that evening.

As a music lover “Purple Reign” The Prince Tribute Show was at the top of my list. Purple Reign captured the heart of the audience with songs from the era when Prince introduced us to “The Artist” also featuring a tribute Morris Day and The Time, this show is a must-see for “Purple Rain” movie fans and all live music fans alike. The wardrobe and artist appearance was spot on. The “Purple Reign” show was explosive a must-see and a wonderful way to kick-off our 2017 Girl’s Trip. After the show, we headed over to “Purple Reign After Dark” a Funk Fusion after party for VIP guests where we dance to a few tunes and met performers from the show. You can catch “Purple Reign” Wednesday-Saturday at the Westgate Resort the show starts promptly at 9pm.

In Vegas after a long night brunch is very important while two of my friends headed off to a conference Holliwood’s and I headed off to Andiron Steak and Sea. Located right on the corner of downtown Summerlin shopping complex with an amazing view to take in while dining. Andiron offers guest a beautiful and relaxed atmosphere with upbeat live music played by a DJ on site and a friendly wait staff. Here are a few items you must try the shrimp and grits paired with an open face waffle and breakfast potatoes, chicken and waffles, and of course the peach mimosa or the tangerine mimosa. Oh, you must order the Snicker Bar dessert! Andiron Steak and Sea is the perfect restaurant to dine at while in Vegas or even as a local it offers five-star service and some the best entrees on the planet. We had a wonderful time sipping and catching New brunch items are available now and takes place every Saturday and Sunday with seatings from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Brunch fanatics will savor an eccentric brunch menu with a unique spin on breakfast and lunch favorites.

After brunch, we caught up with the rest of the crew at the JW Marriott to chill until it was time for dinner at Nacho Daddy. I’ve posted before about how much I love Nacho Daddy so it was very important that my girls get the chance to experience what I’ve bragged about since February. Check out what my friends had to say I can’t make this stuff up.

“What better place to kick the evening off in Las Vegas dinner at Nacho Daddy! I got the sizzling shrimp tacos. The chipotle lime marinade shrimp was so good that it made it into my mouth before I even made it into my tortilla bread. The staff was friendly and fun especially when it came time for my friend to do the scorpion shot. They came out with a cowbell to gain everyone’s attention and was pumped up Latoya when she took her shot I loved it. What a perfect Las Vegas memory!” #girlstrip2017 ~Holliwood

One the best places to dine on the strip at The Miracle Mile Shops that don’t break the bank, but fulfills your taste buds and has a little something for everyone! I recommend Nacho Daddy to a lot my friends and family so far many have confirmed their five-star experience.

I won’t spill all the tea what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, but we couldn’t miss the chance to meet Mr. Tyson Beckford in person. So if you’re in town while he’s headlining the Chippendales show check it out! I surprised my friends with front row seats to enjoy the show and celebrate their birthday’s in style. After the show chill out in the lounge and meet the guys, take photos, and enjoy a couple cocktails. The Chippendales Las Vegas Show at the Rio is steamy and live sexy entertainment and the men are bringing you the fiya.  The show is a multimedia experience like nothing you’ve ever seen before. It’s 75 minutes of energy and entertainment as the men dance, strip and sing.  The Chippendales show is perfect for a girl’s night out!

On Sunday afternoon to close out our trip brunch at Buddy V’s Ristorante was on the top of my list. There’s a carving station, with maple-glazed ham, spicy Italian sausage, smoked applewood slab bacon and chicken apple sausage. Buddy V’s offers bottomless libations like sangrias, Mimosas, Bellini’s, domestic beers and wine by the glass. I love visiting Buddy V’s because the food and atmosphere are on point plus the view of the trip is fantastic. Enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner items buffet style and eat as much as you like. My favorites were the mac n cheese carbonara, ham, fresh peeled shrimp, the fruit platter, and red velvet cake.

Our 2017 Girl’s Trip was fantastic we dined at some wonderful restaurants, relaxed, enjoyed a live show, cruised the trip, and most importantly had a fun.
