Brandy the multi-platinum, Grammy Award-winning R&B/pop singer, songwriter, and actress, brought down the house last night performing hits like “Sitting Up In My Room”, “Full Moon”, and “I Wanna Be Down” just to name a few. She surprised the audience of loyal fans by sharing…
“I’m working on a new album and I want it to be perfect”. Yes, Brandy is official back and better than before is what she told us. Her epic performance last night and tribute to Whitney had us all on our feet from the beginning of the concert until the lights came up. I truly enjoyed the interaction between Brandy and the crowd as we all sang word from word, song after song. At the end of the show, she touched the hands of as many fans as possible saying thank you and I love you too folks were glowing as they left the theater.
We were honored to have a wristband for the private meet n greet with the R&B songstress. King Thrifty and I are huge fans of Brandy so this was a wonderful memory for us to chat about for years to come. It was so magical to hug her, chat with her briefly, and take a quick photo. She was delightful in person as I expected!
Throughout her career, Brandy has sold over 40 million records worldwide, making her one of the best selling female artists of all time. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) lists Norwood as one of the top-selling artists in the United States, with 10.5 million certified albums. Her work has earned her numerous awards and accolades, including a Grammy Award, an American Music Award, and seven Billboard Music Awards. She has become known for her distinctive sound, characterized by her peculiar timbre, voice-layering, and intricate riffs, which has earned her the nickname ‘The Vocal Bible’ from industry peers and critics.
I look forward to seeing Brandy this fall on episodes of ‘Star’ she now has a regular role on the Fox series. We all know “Cassie” is a force to be reckoned with!
