It took us a few years before we decided to not allow Autism to be a reason for skipping travel. We understand the challenges of traveling with a child who has Autism. So we always make sure to do research and plan ahead of time. In the future, I pray more destinations become a Champion Autism Network (CAN) Certified Resort like Ocean Creek Resort. According to the Autism Prevalence on April 26, 2018, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) released new data on the prevalence of autism in the United States. This surveillance study identified 1 in 59 children (1 in 37 boys and 1 in 151 girls) as having autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The Beach Club oceanfront pool is available to all guests, ranges in depth from 3 feet to 6.5 feet and is open seasonally from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. On-site there is also a hexagonal outdoor pool ranges from 3 feet on the shallow end to 6.5 feet on the deep end and is open seasonally from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.
