Chadwick Boseman helped bring to life Black Panther… King T’Challa which inspired many black boys to want be a superhero that looked like them. The cast inspired young women to look at science differently and appearance. Black Panther created a movement a celebration that in years the black culture hadn’t seen or felt. A sense of pride… The cast had so much love a sense of family is what I witnessed.
This morning and last night the entire experience stayed on my mind. I remembered getting ready for the red carpet premiere and the excitement was unmatched by all the Bloggers, but for the black women we were over the moon excited. Rocking our African inspired, best dresses, and natural hair. The vibe was exhilarating during the cast interviews. Daily I checked my timeline after the release to see the smiles and costumes.
Chadwick Boseman is an icon, history maker, game changer, who gave us all he had on the cinema screen with us never knowing his fight. I pray for his wife, 6 year old child, and family.
He will be missed by many…
