There’s nothing like a delicious warm breakfast or brunch on the weekend. I’m all for experimenting with my favorite food items and the Cap’n Crunch French Toast made my list of deliciousness so I’m sharing the recipe with you.
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
-
4 slices Texas toast bread (thick sput liced)
-
2 Eggs
-
¼ cup milk
-
1 cup Cap’n Crunch Cinnamon Cereal

Instructions:
Whisk your eggs and milk in a medium sized bowl until completely blended. In a food processor (or in a ziplock bag and crumble up as much as you can) grind the cereal until it has the consistency of coarse salt.

Then put in a separate medium sized bowl. Grab a slice of bread and soak in the bowl with egg and milk, let excess drain off and then dip in the cereal until the whole slice of bread is covered with Cap’n Crunch cereal.
Put a pan on medium heat, add some cooking butter or cooking spray and cook your slices until golden brown on the outside.
For about 2-4 minutes on either side. Serve warm with some confectioners sugar or syrup.
