Remember the last time an original Broadway musical made you laugh, cry and think – in the right places, and for the right reasons?~Elysa Gardner, US Today
Wicked, the multi-awarded Broadway musical production based on Gregory Maguire’s 1995 novel, has a two-week engagement at the Ohio Theatre in Columbus on August 17 to September 4, 2016.
Even before Dorothy arrived in Munchkinland, the battle between good and evil has been raging on in the Land of Oz. Wicked tells of the story of two friends who chose different paths in life – Elphaba, who became the Wicked Witch of the West, and Glinda, who became the Good Witch of the North. Theirs is a cautionary story of friendship, love, and trust that illustrates that, indeed, there are always two sides in every story. With Wicked, its Columbus audience will surely view the story of the Wizard of Oz in a different light.
The show times for Wicked at the Ohio Theatre on August 17 to September 4, 2016 are at 8 PM from Monday to Saturday, with matinee shows at 2 PM every Saturday. The performances every Sunday are at 1 PM and 6:30 PM.
One of my FAVORITE Broadway plays! I love that Columbus offers such a wide range of amazing shows!
