Blade Runner 2049 My Thoughts No Spoilers

Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K, unearths a long-buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. K’s discovery leads him on a quest to find Rick Deckard, a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for 30 years.

Sci-Fi lovers this is a dream come true! A lot better than the original film Blade Runner 2049 is a must see that’s if you have time to go on a long mind twisting experience where the graphics are simply breath taking. The movie moved  little too slow for me at times, but the suspense kept me nailed to my seat. I thought the sequel was well crafted with a the sci-fi concept and a satirical feel I screamed inside for more flawless visual effects. If your looking for a solid narrative that will keep you guessing Blade Runner 2049 opens in theaters October 6th.

Fun Facts:

The Film was not filmed anywhere in the US.

Blade Runner 2049 is set to be released on October 6, 2017, just ten years and one day after the Final Cut version of the first film premiered in Los Angeles.

Blade Runner 2049 is 46 minutes longer than the original Blade Runner (1982) which ran 1 hour and 57 minutes long.

My Favorite Quote:

Rick Deckard: Replicates are like any other machine – they are either a benefit or a hazard. If they are a benefit, it’s not my problem.

  1. I haven’t seen the first film so I’m slightly behind! I loved this trailer though. I will have to see if I can find the original on Netflix. Thanks for sharing this new film!

  2. I like sci-fi movies, but I’m not familiar with blade runner. Looks like I need to catch up and watch a few of the first movies before I see this one. Looks intriguing though.

  3. My hubby and I were just checking out the trailer for this! I’m excited. I haven’t seen it yet, but I’m glad there’s a lot of good movies coming out this season. I was kind of bored over the summer. Not a lot of blockbusters came out except Girls Trip.
