“Fall In Love With Cleveland” during the fall there is a lot of things to do. Take a stroll in University Circle noted as one of “America’s Prettiest Neighborhoods” ranked by Forbes Magazine.University Circle is known for renowned museums, a prestigious university, nationally recognized hospitals, delicious restaurants, beautiful parks, and cozy spaces to stroll. There are several hotels nearby for lodging, but if you’re looking for something a little more romantic checkout one the bed and breakfast just walking distance from all the action. Wade Lagoon is one of my favorite parks to visit in this area I always prepare a small picnic basket and a blanket. I love sitting close by the duck pond with a view of the Art Museum.
Just a fifteen-minute drive from University Circle is the heart of the city downtown Cleveland. During the fall I love to cruise aboard the Nautica Queen for the Sunday Brunch Buffet. Celebrating a special event or just want an enjoyable time away from home I recommend the brunch cruise. Sip on a delicious Mimosa’s while enjoying food items from the buffet.
The Sunday Buffet Menu includes:
Chef’s Choice of Carving
French Toast or Waffles
Breast of Chicken du Jour
Fluffy Scrambled Eggs
Pasta du Jour
Home Fried Potatoes
Mixed Greens with Dressing
Blintzes with Fruit Toppings
Grilled Bacon, Sausage or Ham
Fresh Fruit Compote
Side Salads
Dessert
Assorted Sweet Rolls,
Danishes
Croissants with Butter & Jam
Choice of Coffee, Tea or Iced Tea
Learn a little history about the city and some of the historical landmarks as the ship past through the flats, across the east and west shoreline. After your meal take a seat on the outer decks or relax inside and listen to musical entertainment. Take a stroll on the outer decks or listen to musical entertainment after you enjoy a delicious meal. While on board we had a remarkable time I look forward to taking another cruise before the season concludes. Advanced reservations are recommended as the schedule is based on availability. To book your dining cruise, call 216.696.8888 or reserve online.

After the cruise head on over to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame a legendary music experience that’s beyond words. Here’s a glimpse of what’s on display right now:
Hall of Fame Inductees-See personal items from the Class of 2017, including Joan Baez, ELO, Journey, Pearl Jam, Nile Rodgers, Tupac Shakur and Yes
Legends of Rock and Roll– Featuring artifacts from the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Blondie, the Doors, U2, David Bowie, Michael Jackson, the Who, the Supremes, Guns N’ Roses and others. I even came across a few of my favorite legends!
Rapper’s Delight-The Story of Hip-Hop as you enter the main Rock Hall exhibit space
The Power of Rock Experience in Connor Theater-Watch and enjoy once in a lifetime performances inside the Connor Theater and experience the Power of Rock.
Rolling Stone / 50 Years-Celebrating the cultural impact in a special exhibition, Rolling Stone / 50 Years.
Before you leave the Rock and Roll Hall Fame to grab a souvenir from the gift shop on the main level oh remember Cleveland Rocks! KEYWORD: CLEVELAND ROCKS
The East Bank of the Flats is one the hottest spots in the city swing by Punch Bowl Social and bowl the night away. Grab the mic and sing a little Karaoke before you play a round of pool the table or arcade games. Feel free to order from the bar and wash your meal down with a craft beer or cocktail. The Li’l Street Tacos was banging they did not disappoint.
Looking for something a little more laid back then head on over to Tremont just 5 minutes from downtown Cleveland. The Bourbon Street Barrel Room in Tremont offers a relaxed, casual, eclectic atmosphere. Serving up inspired authentic New Orleans style cuisine by Southern Louisiana native, Johnny Schulze. Chef Johnny’s Creole classics such gumbo, jambalaya, crawfish etouffee, and my favorites beignets, but that’s not all.
Another great feature is the 30 rotating craft beer handles from some of the best breweries in the world and the legendary New Orleans style cocktails. Located in the heart of historic Tremont on Professor Ave next door to the award-winning Fahrenheit restaurant. Stop in for an exciting late-night experience until 1am on the weekend. The restaurant is now open for lunch on Fridays & Saturday and offers brunch on Sundays. The Bourbon Street Barrel Room has a nice happy hour menu and specialty nights each day of the week.

I love being home when the Cavs, Indians, or Lake Erie Monsters have a home game. If you’re in town or even a local that has never attended a game you are missing out on the fun. Check the team schedule and get your tickets today.
Fall In Love With Cleveland the city has changed so much over the past five years and there is a lot to do. Please keep an eye as I start to explore Gordon Square and Battery Park two of the most recently developed neighborhoods. I invite you to explore Cleveland and enjoy your stay.

I had no idea that Cleveland has so much to offer. I’ve never been there before, but I think I should change that. It sounds like a place my whole family would enjoy.

We had plans to stop there a couple years ago while on a road trip, but it happened to be the day of the Championship celebration a couple years ago for the Cavs. So, not a fan, and avoiding crowds, we have to plan again.
