THE “BFG” Stomps In Theaters Everywhere 7/1
I am so excited that Disney’s THE BFG will be opening in theatres everywhere this Friday, July 1st! This is the first time that Steven Spielberg has directed for Disney and it’s an amazing and magical film that must be seen on the big screen! I truly enjoyed the movie from beginning to end and recommend it as a must see film for the entire family
Here are my two favorite scene’s from the movie!
“The BFG Visits Buckingham Palace”
“Trying To Catch A Phizzwizard”
The BFG has a lovely, if slightly back-to-front language all of their own which Roald Dahl created by playing around with language, creating lists of words especially for The BFG to use. We call it Gobblefunk, after The BFG’s instruction to Sophie: “Don’t gobblefunk around with words.”
Here are a few of my favorite terms from the:
Delumptious
Delicious, as in, “Delumptious fizzy frobscottle…” – The BFG
Gruncious
Awful, as in, “It’s the grueful gruncious Jack! Jack is after me!” – The Fleshlumpeater on ‘giant-slayer’ Jack
Hopscotchy
Cheerful, as in, “Whenever I is feeling a bit scrotty,” the BFG said, “a few gollops of frobscottle is always making me hopscotchy again.”
Propsposterous
Ridiculous, as in, “They maybe is looking a bit propsposterous to you,” the BFG said, “but you must believe me when I say they is very extrausual ears indeed.”
A City Like No Other “Zootopia”
“Zootopia” is Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 55th animated feature.Award-winning composer Michael Giacchino marks his first-ever feature collaboration with Walt Disney Animation Studios for next spring’s big-screen adventure “Zootopia.”
Synopsis: The modern mammal metropolis of Zootopia is a city like no other. Comprised of habitat neighborhoods like ritzy Sahara Square and frigid Tundratown, it’s a melting pot where animals from every environment live together—a place where no matter what you are, from the biggest elephant to the smallest shrew, you can be anything. But when rookie Officer Judy Hopps (voice of Ginnifer Goodwin) arrives, she discovers that being the first bunny on a police force of big, tough animals isn’t so easy. Determined to prove herself, she jumps at the opportunity to crack a case, even if it means partnering with a fast-talking, scam-artist Fox.
Opens in theaters on March 4, 2016
