Landoll’s Mohican Castle has a little something for everyone during your stay a light complimentary continental breakfast is available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. All suites come equipped with a kitchenette that contains a mini-refrigerator I recommend you bring your snacks or beverages you don’t plan on leaving the castle during your getaway. Each suite has an ice bucket (ice machine located on the ground level), along with cups, plates, and silverware. There is an indoor pool and hot tub on the property. For my fitness buffs no worries there is a gym conveniently by the pool area with the basic equipment, so you don’t miss your daily workout. If you’re just looking, relax and unwind schedule an appointment at the spa.

Most recently we stayed four nights at Landoll’s Mohican Castle check out the different suites we stayed in we had a fantastic time.

I love the heated tiles in the bath and the jacuzzi.

Enhance your stay by purchasing one of four unique gift baskets that can be delivered to your suite before or during your stay. Located in the lobby is beer and wine available for purchase along with t-shirts and memorable gifts.

There is a list of activities and events to enjoy during your stay at the Castle just walking distance to The Copper Mug Bar & Grill. The entertainment is offered different times so check the website in advance for additional details. The Copper Mug Bar & Grill offers a complete menu of entrees, appetizer, desserts, and cocktails. During our stay I enjoyed the Peach Sangria cocktail, it was refreshing and delicious sip after sip.

Another hidden gem is the Maker Mountain Studios! Located in Loudonville, Ohio on the beautiful grounds of Landoll’s Mohican Castle, Maker Mountain Studios is a space where people can come to learn a wide variety of skills taught by experts in their fields. Classes such as photography, papermaking, printmaking, blacksmithing, floral design, watercolors, felting, and furniture making, are some of the classes on the horizon.

Into exploring the spooky side of the Castle then schedule a ghost hunt or ghost walk that will take you back to the 1830’s embarking on a one hour guided haunted history tour of Heyd cemetery. The ghost hunts/paranormal investigations include a private tour of the active areas, exclusive access to the grounds, an indoor location to set up your equipment, access to the pool house (when available), access to the tunnel under the Castle.
