“A Journal for Jordan” was a phenomenal film a must-see the storyline flowed and captured my attention from beginning to end. Bring tissues and smile a this film will take you on a journey of emotions, but it doesn’t disappoint. If you see a veteran or serviceman/woman thank them for their sacrifice. Some injuries sustained while serving in the military aren’t visible to the eyes and the wounds may never heal that families are left with. I am forever grateful for our military.
“A Journal for Jordan” is based on the true story of First Sergeant Charles Monroe King (Jordan), a soldier deployed to Iraq who begins to keep ajournal of love and advice for his infant son. Back at home, senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (Chanté Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child. A sweeping account of a once-in-a-lifetime love, the film is a powerful reminder of the importance of family. PG-13.
