My Reflections On “A Journal for Jordan”

“A Journal for Jordan” was a phenomenal film a must-see the storyline flowed and captured my attention from beginning to end.  Bring tissues and smile a this film will take you on a journey of emotions, but it doesn’t disappoint. If you see a veteran or serviceman/woman thank them for their sacrifice. Some injuries sustained while serving in the military aren’t visible to the eyes and the wounds may never heal that families are left with. I am forever grateful for our military.

“A Journal for Jordan” is based on the true story of First Sergeant Charles Monroe King (Jordan), a soldier deployed to Iraq who begins to keep a journal of love and advice for his infant son. Back at home, senior New York Times editor Dana Canedy (Chanté Adams) revisits the story of her unlikely, life-altering relationship with King and his enduring devotion to her and their child. A sweeping account of a once-in-a-lifetime love, the film is a powerful reminder of the importance of family. PG-13.
