There are so many reasons to visit Louisville in the summer. From live music to street festivals and bourbon tours, here’s our guide to things to do on a summer vacation in Kentucky. During my Louisville we embarked on some memorable summer fun. Transportation with a brew guru was included each stop offered flights three stops were included our tour Against the Grain, Great Flood, Monnik. This tour departed from the Mint Julep Experiences Hub at Falls City Market in the Omni Louisville Hotel at 2 p.m. and returned at 6 p.m.
Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory located in Louisville, Kentucky’s “Museum Row”, part of the West Main District of downtown. While visiting the museum we learned about baseball history, how the company started, witnesses first-hand how Louisville Slugger bats are being made. We had a wonderful time!
Catch the sunset as the Mary M. Miller Riverboat cruise through the Ohio River. Take in a little history during the narrated portion of the cruise or enjoy the dinner buffet with a glass of wine.
Frazier History Museum shares stories that matter through exhibitions, education, performances & events. Its also the “Kentucky Bourbon Trail” official starting point and “Welcome Center”.
