Special thanks to the Louisville Visitor’s Bureau for hosting my trip to Louisville, KY. I’ve provided my opinion and an honest review.
Named as of the top “10 Best New Food Cities” in America Louisville; KY also offers one the best Bourbon Experiences, award-winning micro-distilleries, deliciously crafted cocktail and a host of legendary attractions and one of my favorites the Muhammad Ali Center.
I’m a huge fan of Muhammad Ali so I could not pass on the opportunity to visit the Muhammad Ali Center. A non-profit museum and cultural center in Louisville, Kentucky. Dedicated to boxer Muhammad Ali, a native of Louisville located in the city’s West Main District. For us, the visit was a journey that walked us through the heart of a champion better known as the “greatest of all times.”
The center has three levels of award-winning exhibits and galleries for visitors to explore Muhammad Ali’s legendary life, as well as to reflect upon one’s values, inner strength, character, and what makes you the greatest person you can be. Visiting The Muhammad Ali Center is a memory I will hold on to forever. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to learn and discover the six core principles that Muhammad Ali embraced throughout his life. Ali was a man of strength and character who stood for what he believed in and allowed nothing to stop him from achieving his dream.
Confidence– Belief in oneself, one’s abilities, and one’s future.
Conviction -A firm belief that gives one the courage to stand behind that belief, despite pressure to do otherwise.
Dedication– The act of devoting all of one’s energy, effort, and abilities to a certain task.
Giving– To present voluntarily without expecting something in return.
Respect– Esteem for, or a sense of the worth or excellence of, oneself and others.
Spirituality– A sense of awe, reverence, and inner peace inspired by a connection to all of the creation and that which is greater than oneself.
Through multi-media presentations, artifacts, images, and videos I was inspired and learn a lot about the life of Muhammad Ali. I left truly inspired after seeing is legacy, dedication, and what he focused on to fuel is journey through life.
