As an Aunt, I prefer to screen movies in advance before I purchase tickets for my nieces and nephews to attend a showing during opening weekend. This weekend while in Cleveland I’m taking the entire crew of little ones and some of my adult babies to see the Incredibles 2 it’s the perfect movie for the entire family. After a 14 year hiatus, I am excited to say it was worth the wait!
My Reflection
Incredibles 2 has the perfect blend of love, laughter, life reflections, and super action. Jack Jack was my little hero and Edna Mode didn’t disappoint. Lucius Best aka Frozone is all about style when he’s not fighting crime. Now for the rest of the family of Incredibles expecting nothing but surprises as Violet lives this socially awkward, outspoken and sarcastic teenager while mastering her superpowers. Dash is all about the adventure so Mom and Dad will have to keep up with his antics. Will Elastigirl and Mr. Incredible hang up their super suits for good you’ll have to wait and see so purchase your tickets
to see Incredibles 2 now in theaters!
Fun Facts
-
For both “The Incredibles” and “Incredibles 2,” filmmakers studied real-life babies to capture baby Jack-Jack’s movements.
-
All of the original characters were enhanced for “Incredibles 2” due to advances in technology that allowed filmmakers to achieve the looks they originally designed. Frozone’s upgrades included an admirable set of ab muscles.
-
Artists designed a new home for the Parr family, whose house was destroyed at the end of the first film. But story changes called for a much bigger, much more extravagant home for the Parrs, so designers went back to the drawing board, creating a 38,000 square-foot house that features multiple rooms, unusual architectural features, over-the-top gadgets, water features and a floor that moves like a sliding puzzle.
-
The home originally designed for the Parrs did ultimately make the film. In the final minutes of “Incredibles 2,” we see a key character emerge from what is now his home.

After many years of waiting I’m excited Incredibles 2 drops in theaters June 16th I can’t wait to take my family to see it. In INCREDIBLES 2 is back their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
I recently returned home from an amazing press junket featuring the Incredibles 2. Check out the interviews with the first female Director of a Pixar short “Bao“, Frozone, and Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl plus in the inside scoop on Pixar Fest at Disneyland.
Disclosure: I went to LA to help cover the #Incredibles2Event, #BigCityGreensEvent, and #PixarFest with 24 other bloggers. This is an all expensed paid trip by Disney to cover this press event. All opinions are my own.
